The Venezuelan dictator announced, a modo de victoria, that the nutritional deficit has been reduced to 7.7% -como cerró en 2022-, an encouraging figure compared to 2017, when El 35.6% (unas 10 million people) suffered from nutrient deficiencies.

Maduro also celebrated that protein consumption increased in 2022 and today it is estimated as a reality in 78.3% of Venezuelan households, an improvement compared to five years ago, when only La mitad de la población, según los mismos datos, podía acceder a alimentos como la carnemientras los supermercados estaban vacíos dueto a una escasez generalizada de productos.
